About The Closet Ratchet

Having served as an original writer for The Shade Room, Talia went on to create the burgeoning media platform The Closet Ratchet Incorporated which has become the voice of the intellectual and spiritual yet “closeted” ratchet people who utilize social media whom she calls ‘Ratcheteers’.

Thus far, Talia has been honored as one of Impact Magazine's 50 Women of Impact, Rolling Out Magazine's Boss Women In Media and participated in her very first TED Talk in October 2019. Talia has also appeared on various talk shows such as Sister Circle, Morning Rush ATL, Divorce Court, Couple’s Court as a social media expert.

The Closet Ratchet Incorporated has now evolved into a production company with a graphic design team, film and photography team as well as a writing team that regularly execute the services such as creative direction, pilot development, film and editing, plus a lot more!

Currently, Talia continues to work with other brands and celebrities as a social media manager, solidifying the presence of these entities across various social media platforms. She’s responsible for building the Black Women’s Lives Matter and All News Black Women platforms with activist Dr. Jamila T. Davis and worked closely with Misa Hylton to refresh the social media presence of the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy.
